Mount Wachusett
Mount Wachusett in the summer Mount Wachusett is located in Princeton, Massachusetts on Route 140. You can drive to the top of this mountain where you can actually see the Boston skyline sixty miles away on a clear day. You can also see Mount Monadnock in New Hampshire.

At the base is the visitors center which doesn't have quite enough parking. However, inside is very nice and an excellent display of birds you may come across while hiking on the mountain. The state reservation is located along a migration route for birds of prey. You can see hawks, osprey, falcons and eagles during the October/November migration.

By the way, there are public toilets in the visitor's center too.
